The Geomagic Roadshow continues on to Raleigh NC home to Geomagic headquarters. On October 25 we had standing room only for the partners as we revealed our plans for the upcoming release.
Before the event officially began we invited everyone out to tour our new building and had an open technology session for partners to come with questions and feedback from the last year. We had a great time discussing where we'd been and plans for the next year. Everyone was invited to tour our new HQ as well, which is still under construction. We were careful to put away all the heavy machinery before everyone started walking around!
Some highlights from the Roadshow event were John Alpine our new VP of Engineering speaking about the vision going forward of our products. For many of our partners this was the first time they got a chance to meet John since he joined Geomagic in July. Kevin Scofield and John Lockhart both did live demonstrations of our new products and Nick Chwalek presented a competitive analysis of Geomagic to our peers.
After the presentations we had a great time catching up with the partners while waiting for the bus to take us to the Carolina Hurricanes game. We had a suite with plenty of food and spirits for the occasion. We also had our Director of Customer Services, Steven Perkins, who is an avid Canes fan and provided insght into how the season had been going so far. Unfortuantely, the home team lost in penalty shots but it was a wonderful time all around.
