3D Systems was front and center at RAPID 2012 in Atlanta with an exciting next generation display of all our latest technology. First and foremost was the new ProJet™ 3500 Series – offering 8 unique, targeted configurations to support applications as diverse as functional prototyping and healthcare to precision wax patterns for investment casting and jewelry applications. Next in line was the new ZPrinter® 850 – with the largest build area in its class and full spectrum color for large parts, or a full build of smaller parts – fast and affordably! Based on the success of the ProJet™ ‘crossover’ concept was the ProJet™ 7000, announced just that week with increased capacity, productivity and the power of SLA part performance. 3D Systems also displayed our latest on demand parts services and a few of our personal color printers, including 3D Touch and ProJet™ 1500. Finally by special request – we brought the first home 3D printer, the Cube® to RAPID to meet everyone – and, not surprisingly, Cube® stole the show!!
