Michael Kintner from 360 Heros on the SyFy Network stopped by the 3D Systems booth at CES last month to demonstrate how he used the 3DTouch printer to make his own creation. He created what he calls a 360 Heroes rig that allows him to attach video cameras all around the 3D printed rig. This then permits them to record 360 degrees of video using GoPro video cameras. When on a bicycle, this 3D printed object with the video cameras attached allows him to see a 360 by 180 degree view of his surroundings. Once the GoPro cameras are in the shape of a cube, they are turned on by a remote camera system simultaneously and are able to capture a unique 3D video. Watch the video above to see this amazing invention in action!
