3D Systems Geomagic is excited to announce the imminent release of 3 updated products in its industry-leading 3D software products, including 3D scan-to-design, 3D inspection and MCAD products
Geomagic Design X
The 2016 version of this industry-leading scan-based design and reverse engineering solution has undergone a total interface refresh to make your workflow move easier, faster and more productively. In a matter of minutes, you can create 3D solid models from point clouds and automatically pass them to your MCAD system.
Geomagic Design X has also been updated with Geomagic’s exact surfacing technology, making it the ultimate platform for 3D scan to data. This is in addition to the enhanced HD Mesh process that automatically takes sparse, messy, long-range data and easily interpolates it into high quality meshes.

Geomagic Control
Geomagic Control 2015 3D Inspection software has been updated with more support for current MCAD file formats. Now you can more easily enable fast and accurate comparison of measured scan data to CAD data.
What’s more, new advanced reporting tools allow importing of Microsoft Word document templates, as well as drag-and-drop set up of reports to give you a wide range of options for creating reports in a shop floor environment.

Geomagic Design
We updated our Geomagic Design MCAD software with improved support for current MCAD file importing, including SOLIDWORKS 2015 and Autodesk Inventor 2016.
We’ve also added functional element creation such as mirroring in assemblies, Live Linking with KeyShot, further support for DXF and DWG file import and export, as well as addressing bug fixes.
Current maintenance customers can look forward to these updated products within the coming weeks!
