Rome wasn’t built in a day, but that was back before you could just hit “print.” Now, many things can be built with even tighter turn-arounds thanks to 3D printing. And when it comes to architecture and concept models, nothing beats full-color, which is why industry-leading 3D printing service company Whiteclouds is expanding its fleet of 3D Systems’ ColorJet machines as part of its transition to a larger facility. The new 60,000 square foot space will feature 14 additional full-color printers, bringing Whiteclouds’ total 3D Systems fleet to 30 units and making it the largest full-color service provider in the world. Added printers include several ProJet 660Pros, ProJet 460Pros, and a ProJet 860 Pro.
