Design for Additive Manufacturing in the Aerospace Industry

In a continuation of the webinar series with the International Aircraft Engine Association, 3D Systems is going to go deeper into component-level additive design within the Aerospace industry where complexity of geometry, weight and durability requirements, and flight worthiness approval are very important. Additive Manufacturing of a component such as a heat exchanger allows design for better part efficiency by introducing more complex surfaces resulting in a better heat transfer, lighter weights and improved part performance, with no limitations caused by traditional manufacturing technologies.
