OTTAWA, CANADA, December 23, 2002- ShapeGrabber Inc. has signed an agreement to resell Geomagic software through its worldwide sales channel.

Under the agreement, ShapeGrabber becomes a licensed reseller of Geomagic Qualify computer-aided inspection (CAI) software and Geomagic Studio reverse engineering and custom design software. Geomagic has already integrated ShapeGrabber scanners and drivers into both Geomagic Qualify and Studio.

The agreement allows customers to go to one source for digital 3D scanning, modeling and inspection solutions. The companies will also jointly develop integrated solutions for customers with special requirements.

“This agreement creates a partnership between ShapeGrabber and Geomagic that enables us to deliver a new breed of complete, customized solutions to the market,” says Marc Bisson, ShapeGrabber’s CEO. “This is especially significant for the rapid inspection market, which has great growth potential.
