Seoul, South Korea - Nov 30, 2007,

INUS Technology, Inc.(www.rapidform.com), the developer of Rapidform® 3D scanning software, announced that it will demonstrate the latest innovations in 3D scanning software at EuroMold 2007 from December 5th to 8th in Frankfurt/Main, Germany. The exhibition, in Hall 8 - Stand F11, will highlight the recent advancements in Rapidform XO™2.

INUS will be showing XOS™2/Scan, XOR™2/Redesign and a sneak preview version of XOV2™2/Verifier. Calvin J. Hur, INUS's vice president of marketing & global sales, said, "In the year since the last EuroMold exposition, we have made massive changes to Rapidform. Previously, it was competitive with the status quo. With the new functionality and automation, Rapidform XO2 has changed the way that 3D scanning software works." He continued, "With Rapidform XOS2, XOR2 and XOV2, we provide an extensive list of new features and functions. XO2 also makes the three software packages independent, standalone applications."

Hur notes the company will also be showing the 64-bit versions of XOS and XOR as well as Rapidform.dll, an SDK for third party scanning applications.

Rapidform XOS2/Scan Released in August 2007, XOS2/Scan is the world's first software to offer fully automated scan data processing that makes NURBS models from raw 3D scan data within a few button clicks. With all of the new features, XOS2/Scan is a reverse engineering solution with unprecedented price/performance. It offers a complete set of tools for processing point cloud data, creating watertight meshes and making high-quality NURBS surfaces. .

XOS2/Scan focuses on the automation of tedious and time consuming tasks. One example is the new Mesh Buildup Wizard™. According to Hur, "Mesh Buildup Wizard automates scan data processing by turning raw scan data into a NURBS model with little input from the user. For example, it has automated multi-shot registration and merging features. This eliminates the time needed to select common points on all of the adjacent scans, which has been a critical bottleneck in 3D scan data processing."

Rapidform XOR2/Redesign Rapidform XOR2/Redesign, which was released in July 2007, is the only 3D scanning software application that builds editable, parametric solid models from 3D scan data. Analogous to hybrid CAD modeling packages, XOR2 offers more than 200 enhancements and new functions such as Mesh Buildup Wizard™, Loft Wizard™ and CAD Correct™.

Hur cites the CAD Correct function as an example of how Rapidform has changed the way that users process and deploy 3D scan data. He said, "It is an unmatched tool to adjust an original CAD model to correspond with its modified, real-life counterpart. Within XOR2, CAD Correct automatically refits the geometries of the CAD model onto the digitalized mesh model while preserving the original geometric specifications, such as that for surface continuity." Throughout the process of updating CAD surfaces, G2 continuity and G2 continuity matching are guaranteed.

The Refit tool in CAD Correct enables users, like stamping die designers, to easily adjust their CAD model to reflect hand-made modifications. Stamping die engineers at GM DAEWOO used this Rapidform XOR2 tool to cut five weeks from its die tryout and approval process. For a single vehicle, GM DAEWOO estimates that XOR2's CAD Correct function saved U.S. $5 million.

Rapidform XOV2/Verifier A sneak preview version of XOV™2/Verifier will be shown at EuroMold 2007 for the first time. XOV2 /Verifier is inspection processing software that provides a feature-based history with a 3D PMI (Product Manufacturing Information) interface that allows users to manage inspection data systematically and logically. According to Hur, "XOV2 will be the easiest point cloud inspection software, and yet, it will offer the most accurate and repeatable inspection results. It offers a unique blend of ease-of-use and performance that has been unavailable in the market."
