In 2006, Rapidform reverse engineering software was nominated as the next generation World Class Product, and after three years of market data gathering, the MKE announced in December 2009 the Rapidform reverse engineering software as the World Class Product of 2009. Rapidform XOR, the reverse engineering software is an application that processes data from 3D scanners into CAD models useful in manufacturing, research and development. The software is sold globally via INUS Technology offices and authorized resellers in more than 30 countries.

"We're honored by this recognition of Rapidform XOR's success, and appreciative of the MKE's support. We continue to push the envelope of technology to deliver the best software to users of 3D scanners around the world," remarked Simon Bae, Founder and CEO of INUS Technology. Dr. Bae continued "With a focus on delivering what our customers want better than anyone else, I am confident we will see XOR and the rest of the Rapidform product family continually grow in acceptance around the world." About the Korean Ministry of Knowledge Economy The Ministry of Knowledge Economy is the result of a 60 year transformation in the Korean economy. Its predecessors include the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Energy and Resources, which were merged into the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy (MOTIE) in 1993. During the government reforms of 1998, responsibility for international trade issues was moved to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and the Ministry was reorganized once again, this time as the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Energy (MOCIE).

Elected with a national mandate to invigorate the Korean economy, President Lee Myung-bak took office in 2008 and merged MOCIE with elements of the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Ministry of Finance and Economy. The resulting body was an enhanced government instrument capable of meeting new challenges of the 21st century: the Ministry of Knowledge Economy.
